Almighty and everlasting God,
you have given us your servants grace,
by the confession of a true faith,
to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity
and in the power of the divine majesty to worship the Unity:
keep us steadfast in this faith,
that we may evermore be defended from all adversities;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen
Note that there is no 9:30am Holy Communion today; instead there is a Churches Together ecumenical service at 10:30 in the ‘Big Top’ opposite the church, to mark the end of Steyning Festival. We hope to be able to record the talk at that service and upload it to the Sermons page after the service.
Note too that the reading for this service will be Matthew 28:16-20.
See this week’s notices for the Common Worship Lectionary readings for Sunday morning.
Should you be unable to get to church, the Church of England continues to provide a videoed, pre-recorded service, available every weekend, and which can be followed here. Services continue to be streamed live from our Cathedral, and can be found here.
We normally have an evening service at 6pm on Sundays.
These times and dates may change according to season or special events, please refer to our calendar or the current notice sheet.
You can follow the daily office of the Church of England online here. You can also find links there to download a free Church of England Daily Prayer app for your smartphone or tablet.
