Summer Lunchtime Concerts

Another series of short lunchtime concerts is to take place in church on the following Tuesdays in this summer, from 12:30 to 1pm. Entry is free, with a retiring collection in aid of repairs to our church (to make our tower watertight and to repair timber damage):

Forthcoming Concerts

Saturday, 4 July (6pm): Jazz Vespers by Riverboat Shuffle. Traditional Jazz and Spirituals to lift your heart and get you tapping your feet! – in aid of Family Support Work. Tickets £15 to include a welcome drink on arrival, available from the Steyning Bookshop on the High Street. There will be generous hampers and other prizes to be won in the interval raffle. 

Saturday, 11 July (5pm): Kaleidoscope: Supported by a string quartet and directed by Zoe Peate, we will hear Pergolesi’s Magnificat and works by Rutter, Holst and Vivaldi. Tickets £15 (under-18s free) from the Steyning Bookshop, on the door, or you can book online here.

Saturday, 5 September (1pm): A programme of English music featuring the song cycle ‘On Wenlock Edge’ by Ralph Vaughan Williams. John Twitchen, tenor; Helen Ridout, piano; and the Florentine String Quartet. Tickets £15 from the Steyning Bookshop. Pick up a flyer from church for more details, including a companion concert in Henfield St Peter on 29 August, with a programme of flute and piano music.
